Montgomery County Fire EMS is located in Montgomery County, Kentucky. We serve the citizens of Mount Sterling, Camargo, and Jeffersonville, covering approximately 200 square miles and an estimated population of 27,000 people.
To apply with us you only need to have a current drivers license and current CPAT (Candidate Physical Ability Test) card. Applicants must have a current CPAT card by their interview date. Upon accepting a job offer you will become a FF/EMT utilizing the Fire Commission's EMT class and Fire Academy. You will be paid for your time in the EMT class and Fire Academy. Upon completion of training you will be on a 48/96 schedule.
